Harold T. Fitzpatrick, Sr.

Harold Thomas Fitzpatrick, Sr., age 86, of Toledo OH, passed away November 5, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. He was born in Elkmont, Alabama on January 23, 1923 to John Allen Fitzpatrick and Reatha (Higgins) Fitzpatrick. Harold was a Corporal, in the United States Army, 9202nd Technical Service Unit, during World War II. He retired from Libbey Glass in 1985.

He is survived by his daughters; Joyce Ballash, Maumee, OH, Ellen Easton, Toledo, OH, and Amy Sue (Lance) Hilliker, Dundee, MI; son; Harold (Rose) Fitzpatrick, Jr., Northwood, OH; sister, Mary (Don) Johnson, Romulus, MI; brothers, Lester Fitzpatrick, Romulus, MI and Pete (Kathy) Fitzpatrick, West Salem, OH; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents, John Allen Fitzpatrick and Reatha Higgins Fitzpatrick; brothers, Joseph, James and Bill and former wife, Frances Cooper.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Grace Church, 3700 Dorr Street, Toledo, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
